So I decided to start this blog for all the Mixed Girls out there. I feel like it is an un-catered to demographic, while in this day and age women are more mixed than ever. (And in my opinion tend to be the most beautiful) It is no longer Taboo to marry inter-racially especially where I currently reside (aka California Bay Area). But as a young female who is mixed racially, it poses it's challenges with fashion and beauty. Makeup is made for either very dark skin or fair. Either just yellow undertone or pink. Hair products for curly hair are either relaxers for pure African-american hair or fine curls. Fashion is a whole other issue! Each mix is obviously unique and comes with it's own characteristics, so I AM NOT SAYING MY OWN PICKS AND RECOMMENDATIONS WILL WORK FOR EVERYONE. These are things I have found in my own experience, that work for me and I want to share as they MAY work for you.
A little about me...
I love love fashion, beauty and shopping. I should also state I love designer items, not in the everything head to toe is LV but I am not a forever 21 shopper either. I research all the time online, products and items before I buy, I like making informed decisions. I am not a multi-millionaire, so I try to make practical decisions. (Prada is practical right?) I am pretty tiny.... Not quite petite but almost. (Ex. Petite jeans are too small and short) I am 5'3/5'4, so I am definitely not tall!
